Hello, you might be wondering what I mean by my title. Well it's fairly simple because the term "divide and conquer" is used to describe politics a lot. While I'm not in either category, I just want to ask many of you reading this why you're so caught up in fighting over your diet choices? It's like, you don't see birds argue over eating worms or seeds and you don't see other animals doing that. Now if the question doesn't apply to you, then you've probably wondered why and how mainstream Veganism is becoming.
Well, I'm not sure why everyone wants to pick and choose a side but I think this has a lot to do with human interaction. Have you noticed that people rarely seem to be neutral on any given subject? Most people either generally agree with something or disagree with it. Everyone's afraid to have their own opinion on topics and go their own direction, no we have to make sure that a bigger entity supports our claims. And it's sad, but this is why we might be devolving instead of evolving.
Why do we kill each other over numbers and math? It seems all so trivial to me. In any cycle, in order for life to grow it has to undergo changes. Therefore, certain ideologies and thought processes are inevitable. However, if you truly want to make a difference then perhaps we should be aware of who the top dogs are.
If you don't know what I mean, just look at the publicly traded monsters such as Monster Beverage Corporation, Monsanto, etc. What these giants see that you don't see is that they're aware of how humans function. We're too caught up in our own scents to smell the line of BS that comes from their direction, and thus become weak and sensitive.
Here are many famous forms of division:
Should we analyze the game deeper and change who we are first? I dunno, maybe. The planet is without a doubt in danger, but let's be optimistic here: There's seven billions of us, why can't we get the job done? Remember, I'm not advocating any side of this. But to me if anything we have to change the current system of animal farming and how our diets function because in the west, one-third of all food is thrown away yet nobody is pissed about it.
Folks are more pissed that some teens will decide to call themselves this label and berate the owner for not having a specific food at a family diner or that YouTubers call other YouTubers stupid. It's all pathetic. Me personally, I believe we should fight to do more about the issues at hand, so what do you think ? Is this out of control or is it going to get better?
Only time will tell if we mature.
