So tax return week is coming and I don't understand why employees have to pay so much tax. It's damaging to employee morale and it makes no sense why the IRS exist in the first place. I know what you're thinking, "oh boy here we go" But stay with me for a little.
I don't understand this at all really. So let's say you wanted to save up some money and start your own company. In order to do that you might have to work a job where you get paid hourly. What I really hate about this is that certain entry-level jobs just won't pay you enough. It's tough and extremely unviable to work for a gas station, but get this: You only will receive 75% of what you worked for because the rest of that money is going to pay the taxes for a bunch of ungrateful young millennials. What type of messed up situation is this?
And before someone calls me out for taking a shot at millennials, please understand that I am one too, but if I'm honest you'll come to know how ungrateful certain demographics can be at times. Wouldn't you be pissed off if you had to work forty hours in a week, standing on your feet all day, cleaning and mopping floors only to have a significant portion of your paycheck gone to next to nothing? That's ridiculous! That is the real reason why gas stations typically pay out so low! Because they are making money off the employees, duh. You have companies such as this which supposedly pay more, but then you will get a lot of that taken out in taxes!
Can't believe that a lot of people are just okay with this going on too. WAKE up man/woman, that is slavery! Last time I checked, who in their right mind would give money to those who are already well-off, aka the Government??? It makes no sense. Same with the government shutdown, your entire paycheck is a damn fraud. I don't want to be a slave anymore, I want to make it out of this universe, inspire others to live their life, and create some damn good music. In short: Fuck Taxes.
